San Diego: Day One

7/11/2016

If you follow my Instagram, most of you know that I've spent the past week in San Diego, California. I had so much fun and took lots of pictures. I thought it would be cool to share my trip with you so you can see everything I was wearing and all the activities we did! I've decided to break the trip into seven posts--one post for each day. That way you guys aren't overwhelmed with a super long blog post :) So here we go, this is day one of my trip!

My morning started at 4:00 a.m. I woke up, got ready, and was off to the airport by 5:30 a.m. (yes, I was exhausted!). Our flight was off around 9:00 a.m. and we arrived in San Diego at about 9:40 a.m. San Diego time. The flight was a couple of hours long, but the time change gave us two more hours in our day. Needless to say, we were exhausted and we had a full day ahead of us!

As soon as we landed, we went straight to our hotel (Hilton San Diego Bayfront) to put our luggage away and set our stuff down. I was so happy to be in the room--not only because I was glad to be off of the plane, but my room had this GORGEOUS view! Below I've linked the hotel website.

After unloading our stuff and changing clothes, we decided to get some food for our rumbling tummies! We went to the Broken Yolk Cafe for brunch (since it was only 11:00 a.m.!). There were SO many good choices, but I went with a guacamole burger! The service here was amazing. Before we could even say what we needed, they had it out for us.

After eating, we took a ferry over to Coronado Island. We didn't have swimmers on, but we played on the beach and shopped around for a couple of hours. This was definitely my favorite place in San Diego! It was very tourist-y, but I loved it. Shop my look here:

To wrap up the fun-filled day, my teacher and I went to an improv comedy show and Buca di Beppo. The improv show was hilarious--I definitely recommend it! Buca di Beppo is a chain Italian restaurant that I've eaten at before, but it's always delicious! Shop my outfit here:
Denim Dress (Similar) | Lace-Up Sandals | White Purse (Similar) | Sunglasses (Similar) | Black Pom Pom | Black Tassel
